What am I responsible for?

  • The Sponsorship Sales Executive will be responsible for selling high value sponsorship and exhibition packages on the assigned events.
  • This position will require the successful candidate to identify and capitalise on new opportunities to generate sales revenue consistently and deliver against monthly and events targets.
  • The focus is therefore to effectively communicate the value proposition of each event, to follow the companies sales process, and to develop relationships with established players and start-ups on the given market segment.
  • Reporting to Sales Director and working alongside like-minded professionals, you will be part of a high energy team, looking to continually improve results through a mix of high activity and initiative.
  • From time to time your manager may ask you to adjust your working patterns to cover the US market.
  • The company reserves the right to review and update the profile to reflect the changing needs of the business.  However, any significant changes will be discussed in consultation with you.

What would the ideal candidate bring?

  • Minimum 3 years selling conferences sponsorship and exhibition packages.
  • Proven track record in hitting and exceeding targets.
  • Fast learner with the ability to understand different market dynamics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Previous experience in selling into the Defence or Pharmaceutical sectors is preferred but not essential.
