Social Media Manager
What type of company is it?
Our client is a manufacturer and supplier of premium spirits based in the heart of London. They use ethically sourced and only the finest alcohol at the core of all their products.
What am I responsible for?
- Gather data, information, and materials necessary to prepare for upcoming projects and deadlines.
- Follow existing brand guidelines and strive to push the boundaries.
- Develop design and layout concepts based on notes, presentations, and other provided materials.
- Illustrate and augment ad and/or design concepts with rough layouts.
- Gain design approval through the submission of rough arrangements and layouts.
- Prepare complete projects through the use of printing, typesetting and similar design equipment. May also work with print-related vendors.
- Edit rough layouts for final approval.
- Oversee the correct operation of printing and design-related equipment including troubleshooting and ordering repairs.
- Maintain and improve technical skills and knowledge with membership in professional societies, furthering education and use of professional publications.
- Must be able to take constructive criticism without being offended.
What would the ideal candidate bring?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 4 years of experience in design and/or usability engineering.
- Portfolio that showcases samples of UX/UI design work on desktop and mobile.
- Experience creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps to effectively communicate design and interaction ideas.
- Proficient in Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
- Good grasp of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and/or iWork (Keynote, Pages and Numbers).
- Experience in creating digital/interactive tools (i.e., Adobe DPS, interactive PDFs, AfterEffects, Articulate, etc.).
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
