What am I responsible for?
- Handle both inbound and outbound calls from existing clients, assisting them with with the renewal to their insurance policies, processing payments, or addressing cancellation requests.
- Utilise persuasive communication techniques and negotiation skills to proactively retain policies when clients express an intention to cancel.
- If a change cannot be performed due to underwriter declining or system error, the customer service Agent will be responsible for requoting the policy with a different underwriter to provide alternative cover with the required changes.
- Accurately document and update client interactions, changes, and policy information using our internal systems.
What would the ideal candidate bring?
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with clients effectively.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to encourage policy retention.
- Empathy and the ability to understand and address clients’ concerns and needs.
- Good problem-solving skills to assess client situations and offer appropriate solutions.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting client interactions and policy changes.
- Computer literate.
