What am I responsible for?
- Develop media buying strategies based on clients’ objectives and target audiences.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential media channels and platforms for advertising campaigns.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define campaign goals, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Create and manage media plans, including selecting appropriate media channels, negotiating rates, and scheduling ad placements.
- Set up, monitor, and optimize digital advertising campaigns on various platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, programmatic ad exchanges, and other relevant platforms.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide insights and recommendations for campaign optimization.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital advertising.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop effective ad creatives and landing pages.
- Prepare and present regular campaign performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior media buying team members, when necessary.
What would the ideal candidate bring?
- Proven experience as a Media Buyer or in a similar role within a digital agency or advertising agency.
- In-depth knowledge of digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, and programmatic ad exchanges.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and optimize campaigns accordingly.
- Familiarity with campaign tracking and analytics tools.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and client needs.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Experience working in a fully remote or distributed team environment is a plus.
