Commercial Support Manager

What type of company is it?

Our client is a leading liquid manufacturing and packaging facility based in Belfast, specialising in the production and distribution of premium quality e-liquids for the vaping industry.

What am I responsible for?

Customer Support:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our key partners, providing timely and accurate responses via email, phone, and other communication channels.
  • Assist customers with product information, pricing, order processing, and resolving/ recording any issues or concerns they may have.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to prepare quotes, proposals, and sales presentations for potential clients.
  • Coordinate with various internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services to customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and other relevant information in the CRM system.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support to the commercial team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, managing correspondence and coordinating project timelines.
  • Assist in the preparation and organisation of sales events, trade shows, and other promotional activities.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels of products.

Market Research:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Monitor competitor activities and product offerings to help inform strategic decision-making by the commercial team.

What would the ideal candidate bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not essential.
  • Proven experience in a customer service or sales support role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
