Commercial Support Manager
What type of company is it?
Our client is a leading liquid manufacturing and packaging facility based in Belfast, specialising in the production and distribution of premium quality e-liquids for the vaping industry.
What am I responsible for?
Customer Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our key partners, providing timely and accurate responses via email, phone, and other communication channels.
- Assist customers with product information, pricing, order processing, and resolving/ recording any issues or concerns they may have.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to prepare quotes, proposals, and sales presentations for potential clients.
- Coordinate with various internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and other relevant information in the CRM system.
Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the commercial team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, managing correspondence and coordinating project timelines.
- Assist in the preparation and organisation of sales events, trade shows, and other promotional activities.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels of products.
Market Research:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Monitor competitor activities and product offerings to help inform strategic decision-making by the commercial team.
What would the ideal candidate bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not essential.
- Proven experience in a customer service or sales support role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
